PayBase pay $300 to $800, caps $600 to $1,500Three bands: Starter, Standard, Premium. Base pay stops at the cap, so cost stays bounded.

ComplianceClaims sheet with approved ByRokko lines onlyCreators quote ByRokko's own wording. A video that breaks the sheet earns no bonus.
Category ruleTanning, never sun protectionSPF 6 on two oils is not a sun-safety pitch. No burn content, adults only, partnership label on every post.
Goal$1 per 1,000 viewsTarget. The simulator starts at $5.74 per 1,000 views, so median views is the first thing to fix.

History

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

At Tabs I built the creator program this way: a small roster, one number to protect, losers killed early. ByRokko is tanning oils, creams and mists, a different category, and I have not run it. So the claims sheet and the category rules come first, and I'd lean on your team for product knowledge.

Why now

  • 400,000+

    Reviews and comments

ByRokko states 400,000+ reviews and comments across social media. Creators can answer those questions on camera.

    Published
  • 800 K

    Followers

The site lists 800 K followers. The roster adds fresh voices around Shine Brown and the Sunkissed Box.

    Published
  • 4 M+

    Products sold

The site lists 4 M+ products sold. Creator videos give that volume faces and routines.

    Published
  • 39 sec

    One Shine Brown sold

The site states that one Shine Brown is sold every 39 sec. Creators show the routine behind it, one video at a time.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator starts at $5.74, so every test aims at median views, not at more creators.

  2. Seven videos a week, one variable each

Each creator posts 7 videos a week. One variable per test: hook, product or setting. Shine Brown Oil one week, Strawberry Tanning Mist the next.

  3. Ramp two creators a week

Creators live by week: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Losers are killed early and their slots go to creators whose hooks hold.

  4. Capped pay, bonus on organic views

Base pay stops at $600, $1,000 or $1,500 by band. A video past 100,000 views earns a flat $50, once per creator monthly.

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. Report botAppMon 7:00 AM

Monday report is up: views by creator, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, top three hooks, creators to keep or cut.

  2. MaraMon 8:30 AM

This week's brief: Shine Brown Oil, one variable, the first three seconds. Seven videos each, daylight, own skin. Drafts in #drafts by Thursday.

  3. JonasMon 11:10 AM

Can I say the Strawberry Tanning Mist glow lasts up to 5 days?

Yes, it's on the claims sheet: "an even, golden glow lasting up to 5 days". Say it as ByRokko's line, not a promise for your skin.

  4. MaraWed 2:15 PM

Draft three is back. The opener promises a guaranteed tan, which isn't on the sheet. Reshoot it with an approved line or drop the claim.

  5. LiaFri 4:40 PM

My Watermelon Oil morning routine just passed 100,000 views, all organic. Does it count for the bonus?

Confirmed. Organic views only, $50 flat, logged for this month. Send the raw file so we can test it as an ad.

  6. Check botAppFri 6:00 PM

Compliance check done. One video mentions SPF 6 without the sheet wording. It is held back from the bonus run until it's fixed.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Shine Brown Oil routine

    Brief 01

    Shine Brown Oil routine

“Three steps, one oil: my Shine Brown routine.”

Daylight, phone propped at chest height, own skin. Show the Shine Brown Oil bottle, then the application, in one take.

  2. Strawberry mist check

    Brief 02

    Strawberry mist check

“Does a self-tanning mist really smell like strawberries?”

Mirror shot. Spray the Strawberry Tanning Mist, describe scent and feel out loud, then read one approved line from the sheet.

  3. Sunkissed Box unboxing

    Brief 03

    Sunkissed Box unboxing

“I opened the Sunkissed Box so you can see what's inside.”

Tabletop, one continuous unboxing, each product named on screen. Mention the $61.49 price once, at the end.

  4. Coconut Bomb hair mask

    Brief 04

    Coconut Bomb hair mask

“My hair mask smells like coconut and I'm not sorry.”

Wash-day clip: apply Coconut Bomb, let it sit, rinse. Talk to camera while it sits. No before and after promises.

  5. Watermelon oil or cream

    Brief 05

    Watermelon oil or cream

“Oil or cream? Same watermelon, two ways to tan.”

Split screen, same creator, same light. One variable: oil on the left, cream on the right. Say both prices, $18.49 and $21.49.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Expect fast results regardless of your skin type.”, “A paraben-free blend with tan-enhancing oils and skincare essentials.”, “Made in EU”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Buyers already in the comments

ByRokko states 400,000+ reviews and comments across social media. We start with people already talking about tanning there.

  • Tan-routine creators

Creators who already film oil, cream and mist routines for holidays and summer. Search by product name: Shine Brown, Strawberry Tanning Mist.

  • Hair and scent creators

Coconut Bomb and Vanilla Delight Body Mist reach beyond tanning. Wash-day and fragrance creators fit these two products.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

No affiliate or ambassador page was found on the site. The footer has a "Let's collaborate" link, so we'd use it with a short application.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Adult, own skin

Adult creators who show their own skin and tan in real daylight.

  2. 2Tan talk is native

Their page already has tanning, beauty or holiday routines, not one random product.

  3. 3Comments answered

They answer comments on camera; the brand's 400,000+ reviews and comments show buyers ask questions.

  4. 4Sheet-ready

They accept the claims sheet and the category rules before a first brief.

  5. 5Trial video

They shoot one trial video on one product, one variable, and share the raw file.

Part 7 of 15

Who

  • Tan-routine regular

Films a weekly tanning routine in daylight: oil first, cream after.

    Likely product: Shine Brown Oil

  • Dark-tan chaser

Talks about building depth step by step and compares products honestly.

Likely product: Shine Brown Beta Carotene Tanning Oil

  • Self-tan beginner

Wants an easy first try. A mist is quick to film and easy to follow.

    Likely product: Strawberry Tanning Mist

  • Unboxer

Opens sets and explains what's inside for people who want everything in one go.

    Likely product: Sunkissed Box

  • Wash-day hair creator

Hair mask on camera: texture and scent, no repair promises.

    Likely product: Coconut Bomb

  • Scent and body-care fan

Fragrance-first videos about layering a mist with a tan routine.

Likely product: Vanilla Delight Body Mist

Left off, every time

Always out: minors, anyone who burns on camera or dares viewers to, creators who promise health or sun-protection outcomes, accounts that buy views, and anyone who won't use the claims sheet. Tanning products are never pitched as sun protection.

Claims

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Expect fast results regardless of your skin type.”

Any ByRokko tanning video, said as the brand's own line

  • “A paraben-free blend with tan-enhancing oils and skincare essentials.”

Shine Brown Chocolate SPF 6 and Shine Brown Peach Oil SPF 6 only

  • “Experience our #1 Self-Tanning Mist for an even, golden glow lasting up to 5 days.”

    Strawberry Tanning Mist videos only

  • “Revitalize your hair with Byrokko's Coconut Bomb Hair Mask.”

    Coconut Bomb wash-day videos only

  • “Tan-boosting cream with beta carotene for deeper and darker tan.”

Shine Brown Beta Carotene Tanning Maximiser videos only

  • “Made in EU”

Any product video, as a label line

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Never say it protects you from sunburn

A sun-protection promise. The SPF 6 products are tanning oils, not sunscreen.

  • Never say you will be darker by tomorrow

A personal outcome promise with a timeline the sheet does not contain.

  • Never say it repairs damaged skin

A skin-health outcome. The sheet covers cosmetic wording only.

  • Never say it works better than another brand

A comparison claim with nothing on the sheet to support it.

  • Never say a tan is safe to build without limits

A safety promise about sun exposure.

  • Never say it replaces a dermatologist's advice

A medical-adjacent promise outside what a tanning product can claim.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • 95% of users see results within an hour

A study-style figure. Ask ByRokko for its source before any creator says it.

  • Expect extra fast and super dark results in the sun or sunbed.

An exposure instruction. Ask ByRokko whether creators may repeat it.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

New creators with a clean trial video: modest base pay, the lowest cap, room to move up.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Creators who hold seven videos a week and vary their hooks, with a mid cap.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Creators whose videos also work as ads: the highest cap and the biggest cap bonus.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month: a flat $50 once a video passes 100,000 views.
  • The bonus is per video: only the video that crosses the line earns it.
  • Organic views only. Paid boosts and reposts don't count.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

At ten creators and 303 videos, the simulator lands near 1.8M views and $5.74 per 1,000 views against a $1 target. Either 4.2% of videos go viral or median views reach 21,711.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Exit

From organic to paid

  1. Pick organic winners

After the first month, rank videos by views and by how many people stay past the opening seconds. Only organic winners move on.

  2. Ask for the raw file

Ask the creator for permission to use the video as an ad, and for the untouched file.

  3. Test as an ad

One variable per test: the same video with two openers, in a small ad set.

  4. Scale or kill

Scale what holds target CAC, kill the rest early. CAC is the one number to protect once paid is on.

From the video to the checkout

  • Send Shine Brown Oil videos to its product page at $21.49.
  • Route routine videos to the mix-and-match offer: buy three for 20% off, buy four for 25% off.
  • Send Sunkissed Box unboxings to the Sunkissed Box page at $61.49.
  • End new-viewer videos on the sign-up offer: 10% off your first order.
  • Where a creator shops in a store, salon or pharmacy, the video can say ByRokko is found there once your team confirms the store list.

Part 15 of 15

Category

Rules for tanning products

ByRokko sells tanning oils, creams, mists and a hair mask. Creators follow six rules before any video goes live.

  • Quote the sheet only

Any claim about results comes from the claims sheet. If a line isn't there, ask in #claims-check before filming, not after.

  • SPF 6 is not sun protection

Shine Brown Chocolate SPF 6 and Shine Brown Peach Oil SPF 6 carry SPF 6. No creator presents them, or any tanning product, as the way to stay safe in the sun.

  • No burn content

No sunburn as proof, no dares about how dark you can get, no lying out for hours. Shoot in daylight, then move on.

  • Adults only

Adults on camera and in the audience brief. No school-age creators and no posts aimed at kids.

  • Your own result, in your words

Say what you used and what you saw on your own skin. Never promise the viewer the same outcome.

  • Label every post

Every post carries the paid partnership label and #ad in the first line. No hidden brand deals, ever.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
